Real histories, realistic costs and routes tested in the field — no Instagram filters hiding the hard parts of the trip.
Hello, I'm Pipa
It all started in 2007 with a backpack, a tight budget, and the naive idea that three months would be enough to “see Asia.” I came back ten months later with no money, but with the certainty that I had found the right way to live.
Since then, I’ve traveled through more than 40 countries, some with a backpack on my shoulders, others on more structured work trips. What has never changed is the way I write: no sponsored recommendations disguised as advice, no hiding the bad days, and always sharing real travel costs, because that’s what people ask me about the most.
Travel With Pipa was created to be the travel blog I wish I had found before every trip: honest itineraries and practical guides written by someone who has actually been there, not by someone who only researched it online.
Until the next trip, Pipa
The Route
The journey that transformed a three-month adventure into a full-time travel career.
I set off to Southeast Asia with a 38L backpack and a budget for three months. I stayed for ten.
What started as personal travel notes evolved into my first published guides, with readers asking for even more tips and detailed itineraries.
I left my office job to write about travel full-time—the most challenging and rewarding decision I've ever made.
"Italy in 21 Days" was inspired by three different trips across the country and became the blog's best-selling travel guide.
Today, Travel With Pipa helps thousands of travelers plan unforgettable trips with confidence and practical advice.
Our Values
Every travel guide is based on my own experience, with real travel times, distances, and costs you can rely on.
If I recommend something, it's because I genuinely believe it's worth it—not because someone paid for a mention.
Detailed accommodation, transportation, and food costs to help you plan your trip with confidence and no unexpected surprises.
